After my "art invasion" into the office space with the Cow, I went ahead and asked my colleagues in the neighbouring room whether they'd like any touch of color for their space. They didn't make my life easy voting pretty much for the full range of rainbow spectrum. That's how the Rainbow was born. First experiment with the true 3-D composition and multiple layers, and the gel too.
Seems the Cow made friends in the office. A colleague of mine liked the beast, so I suggested to paint something for her office too. Amazing how much a non-descriptive office can turn into something more personal with this stuff. Of course if you can stand this "art".
Right now this one is patiently waiting under my desk till my colleague returns from her vacation. With a verdict: to hang or not to hang (the painting).
Inspired by my cat Krolik (meaning "Rabbit" in Russian, just to add to his list of self-identity issues), who is a copy of Garfield in all respects.
New play with coarse gel medium (cool pimples on surface which are hard to appreciate on the screen). And then painting with hands deep in acrylic, splashing paint with fingers. That's what childhood feels like.
